What happens to a request
Filing is instant. The removal is not, and that is deliberate: this form has no account behind it and anyone can type any domain into it, so a takedown that ran on its own would be a lever anyone could pull on anyone. A person does it instead.
If you want to say more than the box holds, or chase one you have already sent: email hello@daylight.ad or tag @jrya7 on X.
What being out means
A product. Its listings stop serving anywhere on the network, and the ad’s public page becomes a short note saying its owner asked for it to go — no copy, no link, no numbers.
A board. The board is switched off: listings credited to it stop serving, and nothing more is read from it.
A listing reaches the library one of three ways — its owner added it, a leaderboard operator entered it and it is credited back to their board, or it was read from a board that publishes its rankings openly. Once an opt-out is enacted it is permanent unless you ask us to reverse it.
